market place. The primary way we accomplish this is by
representing your interests in
Frankfort and in Washington, D.C.
The KyCGA provides a
unified voice for its producer members, works to influence
farm-favorable legislation, and lobbies to see unfavorable
legislation fail.

Another, and equally
important, way the KyCGA works for your bottom line is by
advising the check-off investment arm of the association,
the Kentucky Corn Promotion Council.
Corn producers across
the Common-wealth are represented on the KyCGA Board by 12
producer members, three agribusiness professionals, an
extension agent, and a representative from each local KyCGA
association.
On behalf of our members, the KyCGA
Board makes innovative funding recommendations to the
Promotion Council so that projects will benefit Kentucky
producers. Funding categories include research, education,
promotion, administration, and market development.
