On
Thursday, February 24, we were saddened to learn that Tom
Luck, of Hanson, passed away at Bethel Baptist Hospital in
Nashville. Tom, 54, had been a member of the KyCGA Board of
Directors for seven years and was recently reelected to
serve as Treasurer for his third term. In addition to
farming with his brother Joe in Hopkins County, Tom was
owner of an agricultural and turf chemical company.
Bruce Sanders, KyCGA director and long-time friend of
Luck said he will definitely be missed by a lot of people.
He also said that if he ever had a question about spraying
systems, Tom was the one he would call. "He was a very
knowledgeable person."
Tom was a vibrant addition to the KyCGA Board of
Directors and was quick to keep the Board focused on the
Association mission. He was also a great visionary and
brought innovative ideas with him on a regular basis. Tom
Luck will be truly missed by many.
