There
was a steady buzz surrounding the Kentucky Corn Growers’
Chevy Avalanche during the four-day run of the National Farm
Machinery Show in Louisville this past February. Many
visited to share their positive experiences using ethanol
and others just wanted to know more.
“We couldn’t keep the E85 brochures on
the table fast enough,” said KyCGA communications director
Jennifer Elwell.
The alternative fuel and flexible fuel
vehicles received massive attention just prior to the show
when General Motors (GM) launched it’s “Live Green, Go
Yellow” commercial during the Super Bowl broadcast.
GM donated the flexible fuel Avalanche to
the KyCGA to help promote the fuel in Kentucky.
