On January 6, KyCGA posthumously announced Tom Luck as the 2006 Hall of Fame inductee.  Luck, who resided in Hopkins County and served on the KyCGA Board for 7 years, passed away in February 2005.

According to his peers, Luck was a an innovative thinker and a successful business owner. He was a strong supporter of Kentucky’s ethanol industry and other cooperative business ventures.

A portrait of Luck was presented to his wife, Diane, and son, Brian. The KyCGA Board also honored Luck by presenting Brian a $1000 scholarship to aid in his graduate work in agricultural engineering at the University of Kentucky.
