2007
Commodity Classic Report
The 2007 Commodity Classic,
“Bounty on the Bay,” was attended by more than 4,000
people, the second largest crowd behind the 2004
Commodity Classic in Las Vegas. A strong delegation from
Kentucky came to Tampa, Fla. March 1-3, to learn ways to
improve profitability and productivity on their farms.
KyCGA representatives also engaged in a spirited debate
on farm policy with other state corn growers association
representatives during Corn Congress.
The Kentucky Corn Growers
Association is pleased with the final policy NCGA will
use to develop their 2007 Farm Bill proposal.
