Corn Growers Applaud USDA’s Implementation Rule for ACRE Program

The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) and its state affiliates applauded the U.S. Department of Agriculture after the department released the rule to implement the Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE) Program.  The program was authorized as part of the 2008 farm bill.

“We are pleased to hear the announcement about the ACRE Program,” NCGA President Bob Dickey said. “This is a very important piece of the 2008 farm bill to NCGA members, especially during a time of uncertainty and volatile commodity markets.”
