Congressman James Comer and two prominent national level agricultural lobbyists will provide updates on work in Congress to enact a new federal farm bill. The panel discussion will take place during the National Farm Machinery Show next month in Louisville.
Comer, a Tompkinsville Republican, serves on the U.S. House of Representatives Agriculture Committee, the panel overseeing the all-important farm bill rewrite.
Joining Comer on the panel will be Sam Willett, a Washington-based official with the National Corn Growers, and Joe Cain, Director, Commodity Division and National Affairs, Kentucky Farm Bureau.
The session is scheduled for 1 p.m. Feb. 15 in South Wing C Board Room of the Kentucky Exposition Center. This AIN meeting is open to anyone with an interest in learning more about this important legislation. Please feel free to bring a guest!
